It's more than just photography. As a couple, you'll likely work with a team of vendors for the better part of a year or more to plan a celebration that is uniquely you. The photography for your day is likewise the result of emails, talks, and planning over months of time.
From initial contact through delivered images and printed pieces, I work with clients and planners to integrate photography into the day seamlessly. Allowing you to be present throughout the day, focused on celebrating with family and friends.

What does our photography coverage include?
All coverage includes meeting with you or your planner to integrate the photography timeline with the main timeline of the day. All coverage includes assistance in organizing groupings for formal portraits. Most importantly, I'm here for you. Anytime you want to know if that crazy photo idea is even possible or if we have time to fit in the family shot of the second cousins that aunt Rita requested...email, text, call. After the wedding you will receive approximately 100 images per hour of coverage in an online gallery. Highlights will be available within a few days, the full gallery within 6 weeks.

We like your website...can we see a full wedding?
First off, thanks! The images on the site are of real couples, real weddings, real events. No models. No styled shoots. (...don't get me started.) Secondly, kind of. Follow the link to see a gallery broken down into the sections of a wedding day as I typically cover them. Each section is from a different wedding but includes the full set that was delivered. This allows me to provide examples from weddings that vary in location, budget, size, etc. while providing a "full wedding" gallery so you can get an ideal of how I would cover your day.

How much experience do you have?
I have a degree in photography and have been photographing weddings professionally for over 10 years. My work has taken me to 10+ states and internationally in that time...along with a list of venues that is too long to write out. I have photographed full weddings on film and weddings fully digitally, in the snow and in 110 degree South Carolina summer heat. I have shot in the darkest churches and the brightest fields, next to parking lots and on mountain tops...I've seen enough to comfortably say that whatever and wherever your venue is, I can handle it.

so, How much will this cost?
Short answer: elopements and small gatherings begin at 4000, full weddings begin at 6000. The average wedding is 8000. If you really go crazy...maybe we could make it into the teens.
Wedding prices can feel a bit arbitrary, I know great photographers who charge 2-3 times more and others who charge half that. (Don't assume that a higher cost in the wedding world necessarily equates to higher quality, care, or professionalism.) For me, pricing is about placing myself in the market to photograph the style of weddings that best fit my work.

Tell me a story
Early on in my photography career a friend once told me that, for him, professionalism meant being able to offer the same experience and quality of images to each client. To him that meant having a backup to each and every piece of equipment available at the wedding. That extended to himself...having qualified photographers on call and a 2nd photographer capable of taking over and providing the same level of photography if injury or sickness kept him from continuing to photograph. This stuck with me and has always been how I treat my work. Over the years it has allowed me to refine my workflow to offer the same consistent level to each couple.
